Street parking is quite expensive in Amsterdam
Around the Wheelhouse the rate is 4.50/hour (9-24)
Free on Sunday.
(Parking in the historic center is 7.50/hour 24/7)
For the Wheelhouse:
Depending on the dates of the booking, we can arrange parking for a reduced rate.
Please inquire before booking.
Nearby parking garage is 1.5 hours free. after that 3 € /hour
Cheap alternative is P&R . you need to go there by public transport, to pick-up your car.
If you have hand-luggage only, this is a good options (3 days parking max)
route to the wheelhouse
Work is currently underway on the Piet Hein tunnel, which means that an alternative route has to be found.
Since this can lead to congestion, we recommend using a route planner that takes traffic jams into account.
The boat is located right next to the bridge in the connecting dam.
You can stop briefly on the sidewalk to unload luggage

Please pass on your license plate number as soon as possible by e-mail. At least a few hours before arrival.
Parking is organized digitally. scan cars check the license plates.
Once I confirm the registration, you can park anywhere nearby where normal street parking is allowed. (not in other parts of Amsterdam)
Make sure you don't park
- before I confirm the registration (you can be fined even in the first half hour)
- not in a place for disabled people, electric cars, deliveries etc.
- DO NOT park at area B (purple) on the map below.
